DRAMATIC ORANGUTAN
First things first… they say that if you want something done, you should do it yourself. Hence the birth of DRAMATIC ORANGUTAN. I’m thrilled to be finally launching the big, orange ape. It’s been a long time in the planning and hopefully we’re going to bring you some new, exciting and utterly insane projects to feast your eyeballs on.
SEMI FINALISTS
In other news, THE WRITER is still doing the festival rounds. Who knew our little film would gain so many accolades, laurels and fans?! The latest festival we’ve been accepted into is The Lit Laughs International Comedy Film Festival as a semi-finalist. This is the first comedy specific festival we’ve entered — the vast majority of the others focussed on horror. Hopefully, THE WRITER can muster a few laughs to add to all the screams of terror.
Australian Cultural Fund
Our last project, The Writer, turned out great. For our next one we’re going to need a little help so, in order to get KABOOM up and running, we’ve put the project up on the AUSTRALIAN CULTURAL FUND. It’s a great initiative in which every donation over $2 is tax deductible. It’s the support of lovers of all the creative arts that get innovative projects like ours and so many others off the ground. We thank you so much for your support.

This is the biggest news of the day. This utterly bonkers new series feels like the culmination of everything I’ve wanted to see on screen. Dramatic Orangutan and Immmagination for Hire have teamed up to bring you a western/sci-fi/action/comedy series (technically, it’s an anthology but let’s not get picky) about Inter-dimensional bounty hunters travelling about the multiverse on a network connected by soda dispensing machines brightly labelled KABOOM: It’ll send ya!
